Clarion Lakeside Inn & Conference Centre

Beautiful view, lovely area

The tv had no streaming, not a smart tv. The home button disabled. The tv that came in was all snowy and glitching. The drapes don’t go to floor so the room was bright at 6 am! The room smelled weird. The bathroom tiny. Have to have someone go check your room at checkout

On the positive side, the staff were friendly, though everything moved at a very relaxed pace, which matched the local lifestyle, so we didn’t expect super-fast service. The closed breakfast restaurant was not an issue, as there are plenty of places to eat nearby — you just need to step outside and walk a bit.

The hotel felt a bit overpriced for what it offered. The parking lot was broken and uneven, making it nearly impossible to roll a suitcase – it looked more like a construction site. The rooms were quite small. Coffee machine with complimentary coffee only produced cold coffee. And the carpet was smelly :(

Dining room and bar were closed, no mention in description. Hotel still charged full rate. Very disappointing.

Restaurant is under construction, as is the pool and spa. Clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful view of the lake

Very nice property - location, comfort & views. Restaurant is currently (8.2025) closed for remodeling. This property needs a restaurant badly, especially breakfast as the town is lacking good breakfast restaurants.
