Radisson Hotel Haugesund

We were in Haugesund to go to a birthday party. This hotel was close to where we were going. It was a ok room, a bit worn down. Good breakfast and nice people working in the hotel.

Slitt hotell, men helt ok. Smilende personale, men ingen som reagerte på en pipende brannvarsler i gangen som pep igjennom hele natten.

Needs total refurbishing. Rooms have a lot of wear and tear. Heating does not work. No power outlets available for laptop or phone chargers. Personnel friendly. Restaurant services very limited, only 2 choices, no menu.

Greit for en enkel natt. Sliten og gammelt.

Rask inn og utsjekking, personalet er hyggelig og profesjonelt. Hyggelig rom pris Har bodd på dette hotellet en rekke ganger og kommer tilbake igjen. Frokosten var meget bra og ga en god start på en ellers hektisk reisedag :-)

I sayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business stay. The building although maintained and clean, is clearly dated. My room (on floor 5, executive) was well dated as well, some of the furniture were worn, the master light switch was not working. Generally all fittings are dated (switches, thermostats, doors etc). In addition there was only one available power outlet for charging phones etc at the desk, nothing close to the bed. There was no central light in the room, you have to turn on the two bedside lamps, reading light and a floor lamp, together with the entrance light, individually, and still not enough light! I had all day meeting so I was only in the room during darkness hours, and I had to struggle with dimness in the room! (Hence no photos). Bathroom was ok, with heated floor and good pressure. Nice tv with good reception. Staff was friendly, lobby is nice with a running fireplace, cold breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Location is good if you want to be close to the airport. This is nothing like other Radisson Blu Hotels I have stayed in Norway. It is an average and "ok" hotel, I would stay again if I had to, but would I would look for something else in town if I had the choice on a leisure visit.

Generelt liker jeg ikke personell som ikke kan "nok" norsk. Dette drar alltid ned. Oppholdet var ok. Buffeten på kvelden var veldig mangelfull men frokosten var ok. Når vi kom til frokost var de fleste bord ikke ryddet. Kopper og utstyr stod igjen. Vi ryddet selv.

I stayed for one night for a business trip to Haugesund - the hotel is well situated for the city centre and also for the outskirts. Reception is an oddity - strange to see classic cars parked in there! That aside, check in was handled smoothly. Up to the room, it looked tired and dated. The actual room was small and the furntiure seemed ready for the bonfire - on the plus side, the bathroom was OK. The buffet dinner was rather dull and unimaginative and the restaurant understaff making it diffcult to get more drinks. The hotel is OK, nothing really wrong, but I expect better rom a Radisson.
