I was disrespected and told to leave on the day of my grandmother funeral bc I was there early to check in which I added in m notes. The front desk clerk told me I could not wait in the lobby. I was not allowed to check in the hotel at all and they would not refund me my money

We selected the hotel for the location, which was perfect for our visit.

We had asked for a room on the ground floor when we booked. When we arrived, we were asked if we would mind taking a room on the second floor. We agreed - but were given room 216 which had a broken refrigerator, a musty smell, an air conditioner that made a noise as if it was digesting an elephant, cracked tiles in the bathroom, odd stains on the walls and doors, and a mold-covered telephone. Then the elevator broke down. Took three days before we could change rooms. The new room on the ground floor was fine, and clean.

We showed up to our room and there was a sticky stain on the bed. There was black dog hair on our blanket. The cushion by the window was soaking wet causing it to smell musty. We ended up leaving the hotel and staying somewhere else.

Not a dammed thing.

The mattress felt like it was 25 years old. We both were itching all night. When we got home we both had bedbugs in our clothes we had on. They also were in our bag we had at the hotel with us. They also are now in my car and we have even killed one in our house. We want a full refund. I spent over $100 on bedbug insecticide this afternoon and have countless bites. If not refunded- I will tell anyone who will listen to me to stay away from that hotel. And I will write a review everywhere I can.

We cruised in late just to crash out for a couple hours and grab breakfast. The room was grimy, there were dead bugs. The breakfast was also awful. The biscuits and gravy were cold, the muffins were dry, there was no eggs, sausage, yogurt or anything. I ended up making do with instant oatmeal. The waffles were the only redeeming thing but not everyone likes to carb load for breakfast. We were on the last leg of a ten hour drive and just needed a bed and a hot meal. It was a disappointing experience.

I’ll never stay here again, that’s for sure. The room was unbearably hot when we arrived. We ordered food to eat and when we tried to use the microwave in our room it was COVERED in roaches, I took video and showed the front desk clerk and she half apologized and then asked what I wanted to do about it…like obviously I want my money back but it wasn’t even offered. There was also mold all over the room. The skirts on both beds had white mold growing on them, the desk chair also had mold growing on the back, and there was thick, grimy dust around the roach infested microwave and fridge and under/around the beds and nightstand. There was never any staff around, every time I left the room it was like a ghost town. We skipped breakfast in the morning due to bugs and it again was a ghost town, no staff checking on anything or refilling anything or cleaning. No one was even at the front desk when I went to tell them about the roaches. I have 2 young children and I had to watch them like a hawk so they didn’t touch anything they weren’t supposed to, and so we ended up spending our holiday worried about bugs and filth instead of hanging out and enjoying each others company. 0/10 do NOT recommend.

Staff was kind and courteous. Amenities provided all that I expected. Other guests behaved and were as expected. Thanks ...would stay again
