Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Calgary-Northeast

First appearance the place looks great nice and cozy. Then you get to your room and the room looks clean on the surface but the carpets are worn and disgustingly dirty! There is build up in the corners of the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was fake eggs and over cooked sausages; there were lots of fresh cold options available. The satellite TV did work, when I tried calling the desk nobody answered so I went to the desk and was told it had been like that for a couple of days. When checking out in the morning the kitchen staff had to find the front desk person for the line up of people waiting. When I complained I was given a 15% discount but would never stay there again!

Location is good.

Airconditioning unit is noisy.

Breakfast was a great way to begin the day. Choice of cereals, including hot porridge. As well as toast, bagels, muffins and waffles. Also could have juice, tea and coffee. Service from breakfast staff was excellent.

Be mindful of being charged twice. Can take another 30 days for your money to be refunded but it eventually is reimbursed.
