Parador Palmas de Lucía

We wanted to love this property. I'll start with the positive. Our room was poolside and we could see the beach from our porch. The bartender Juan Carlos was SO amazing. The included breakfast was just ok (but at least they had the option of a hot included breakfast!). Now, the rest. We had no hot water for 2 days and when we asked about it, the front staff refused to address this issue and clearly didn't care. The sliding glass door to our porch wouldn't properly close. The girl that checked us in was beyond rude. Ice costs 48c for your ice bucket. Rules were very clear that you MUST NOT have a cooler on premises because they provide you with a refrigerator. (what If I want a cooler at the pool or beach??). This place had the strangest rules. Also, the photos promise a beach right out your door but you do have to walk (not far) down the road to the beach. It's not really a sunbathing beach but pleasant enough for some morning walks. I do not recommend this property. We did stay at their sister property in Maunabo and everything about it was above and beyond expectations!

I had a wonderful stay. I went by myself. It was the perfect destination for a solo me trip. Staff was kind and food was good for what it was. No issues at all. Highly recommend.

We have stayed st this hotel during our tour in peurto rico. Quality of service and attention to detail was awesome. The staff is amazing and the rooms have been comfortable for us. They gave us a beautiful view. We enjoyed a lot during the stay.

There were only two towels for 3 adults, we request more and they never deliver to the room we had to requested again. At night the music from the people outside were extremily loud until pass 1 AM, one of the nights they turn it off until the police came down.

The pictures make you think you can walk to the beach right from the property, which is not exactly correct. It is very rocky and rough. You have to walk south to find the beach. I thought I was getting ocean view and I got dumpster view. There are no elevators, so we had to walk upstairs with our heavy luggage. They do not provide towels for the pool and you are not allowed to bring the ones in the room; you must buy them,,, on top of everything, they charge you for ice! That’s ridiculous… Other than that the place is very clean and staff very nice and polite.

Hotel exelente pero al lado del hotel hay una playa y un estacionamiento pequeño pero el fin de semana tarde en la noche habia autos estacionados al lado del hotel con la musica bien alta o sea viceteo y era incomodo dormir con tanta musica ala vez y volume muy alto

The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has at front a Disc Golf Course. The Manager Juan Pablo is a Pro Player and he can teach you how to play!! I took my 5 years old son and I have a blast!! if you ask the hotel most likely they will provide you the equipment to play at the Disc Golf Course!!
