"except for the incidence, the place is convenient, food is okay and is a good place to stay"

The maintenance man knocked, but after being told not to enter because I was about to use the bathroom, he opened the door and walked in anyway. He insisted he needed to finish his work, said he was harmless and worked for Ibis, and told me not to worry — but this is simply not acceptable from a safety and privacy standpoint. Beyond this incident, the room was dusty, and the noise from a festival outside was significant. The room also wasn't cool enough, and opening the window during summer wasn't a viable option due to the noise.

Hotel is in a great location walking distance to center and beside the river which was lovely for an early morning walk and there are some restaurants nearby along the river. Breakfast had nice variety and room was perfect for 1 night stay. Loved the pancakes!

Most staff were pleasant but the main guy who checked us in and out on our stay wasnt very pleasant at all and gave the impression he didnt really like his job, perhaps he would be better suited not greeting customers.
