Blue Waters Inn

Our second stay at this location which is close to the airport. They have a free shuttle service if you call and ask for a pick up. They were even willing to stop off for us to grab food on the way to the hotel as their restaurant is still being built (they hope to have it ready by Feb 2019). I love staying at a locally owned hotel. They are willing to go the extra mile to help you. The breakfast setup is great and the wifi speed is excellent. Highly recommended if you have a layover.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were quite comfortable. The close proximity of the room to the beach was also quite convenient.

We loved the beachfront balcony! Being able to sit and enjoy the sound of the sea was absolutely relaxing. The room was clean for the most part with the exception of a few cobwebs here and there. Given the limited food options within close proximity their food options could have been more extensive. Overall a relaxing spot, courteous staff and a breathtaking view.

Beautiful and relaxing setting, with friendly staff - special praises for Erica! Visit to Little Tobago bird sanctuary and the coral reef was illuminating. The nearby villages and towns are rather laid-back and there are few options for eating out.

The views from this location on the island are spectacular. My husband and I were looking forward to a calm and relaxing retreat, and Blue Waters delivered. The staff went over and beyond to ensure our comfort. We had a few special requests, and Shameah, the front office manager worked diligently to come through. Kim and Erica made certain our bar and dining experiences were exceptional. Frank, our tour guide took great care in escorting us to see some truly memorable views of the ocean at the neighboring bird sanctuary via a glass bottom boat excursion. Finally, Andy our driver made sure we made it to and from the airport without worry. This was the first time we ventured to the far Speyside end of Tobago. We previously visited larger hotels on Stonehaven Bay. For the simple pleasure of reconnecting with nature and being treated like "guests", we plan to return to Blue Waters Inn.

I really enjoyed my stay. It took a long time time to get to the resort from the Hotel but it was worth it once we got there. We stayed in Bungalow # 7 and it was clean . There was some rust around the window in the bathroom and we had to ask for more hand and bath towels that we never received. However overall the ambiance was amazing and the food was good. Staff was nice and manger was friendly and was willing to listen to our concerns about making their street signs more view-able.

We have been coming to Blue Waters for over 20 years and seen continual upgrading. We have a villa at Lambeau in Tobago, where we spend part of the year but like to come up to Blue Waters for short holidays each year. We are well known to the very friendly staff Beautiful location to relax in. Whilst these did not spoil our holiday at all, this time there were a few minor maintenance items needed to be carried out in the deluxe room :- bedside light bulb out, other bedside light adjustment, venetian blind repair to bottom slat and armchair brading damage. No action needed whilst there, but mentioned them as constructive comments to reception on departing.

Great vacation venue, felt a bit far from any 'action' . A great location for a quiet vacation.
