"Great location with poor accomodation and inadequate breakfast provisions make this poor value."

4.0

Wonderful location but the hotel was very tired

Our bedroom was very poor. The bed was tiny. Thin walls made it noisy with television and barking dog in the adjoining room. Whilst the food was good breakfast was very disappointing. We were given a time for breakfast but found that fruit and pastries had run out. They chose check out time to service the lift so that we elderly guests with mobility problems could not take our cases down the staircases. Very poor value for money.

"Relaxing stay. Great views of the estuary and Snowdon backdrop."

7.0

Breakfast was included and there are many great views of the estuary and Snowdon backdrop from the Bar and Restaurant.

Bathroom needs improvement. Bit too rough quality for my expectations

"Memorable stay in Beaumaris. Would come back!"

9.0

Location is fantastic. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, in particular the receptionists and the breakfast staff. Stayed in the Regent suite which had a beautiful sea view. The bathroom was clean, modern and the room itself still felt timeless and historic. The bedding was extremely comfortable and we both had a great night’s sleep, in fact probably the best night’s sleep during our Welsh trip.

While it didn’t bother us, there were some minor stains on the rugs and upholstery that can only be expected when staying in such an historic hotel. Also with the windy conditions at the time of our stay the old windows rattled pretty loudly, but we fixed it easily ourselves with a folded up bit of paper.

Excellent location. Wonderful views of Menai Strait and Snowdonia mountains.

The hotel definitely had charm and character. In need of a little updating.

"Good place to stay"

8.0

The hotel was old but very beautiful our room was cosy & very clean ..but the view was of scaffolding at the back of the hotel ...we only booked one night so it didn't really matter so much ..dinner & breakfast was lovely...

We didn't like the view from our window as it overlooked scaffolding. The only other thing was short staffing during breakfast ....we had to keep asking for breakfast croissants & yogsrt for the fruit ....a member of staff apologised for bring overlooked for tea & coffee ....but in the end once served breakfast was lovely.
