Bel Air

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer mit einem tollen langen Sandstrand. Das Hotel ist ideal für einen Barcelona -Städtetrip, wenn man dem Grosstadt-Trubel aus dem Weg gehen will und - neben dem City-Trip- noch Erholung und Meer haben möchte . Das Frühstück war sehr gut und man konnte mit Blick aufs Meer draußen essen .

Leider wurde der Pool (der zur Straßenseite liegt) während unseres kurzen Aufenthaltes umgebaut und war geschlossen. Das wurde uns bei der Buchung nicht angezeigt- erst später. Dafür durften wir aber auf Nachfrage den Pool in einem fussläufig gut erreichbaren Partnerhotel nutzen. Die Zimmer „nach hinten“ zur Straße sind extrem laut . Auch Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick, da in unserem Fall der Flaschencontainer des Hotel gg. Mitternacht vor unserem Fenster geleert wurde. Tipp: Wer lärmempfindlich ist und etwas mehr Geld ausgeben mag, sollte (ruhigere) Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen .

Overall, we had a very good stay at the hotel – everything was at a high standard and met our expectations. The location is excellent, the breakfast was also very good, and it’s an ideal base for trips and relaxing. Unfortunately, it was disappointing that we were not informed in advance about the swimming pool renovation, as this was the main reason for our visit. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know that sunbeds are free only from Monday to Friday, while on weekends there is a charge of 10 EUR for a sunbed and 10 EUR for an umbrella, which came as a surprise. That said, the location is truly great for a relaxing stay right by the beach. We were also in central Barcelona, and honestly we can’t imagine staying there – it was very noisy, crowded, and hectic. Here it’s completely different: a calm, perfect place to chill and unwind.

Excellent! This modern, inviting hotel has a spectacular view of the beach and sea, our room is large and well appointed, and the penthouse bar — though expensive — was convenient. The location in town was good for walking to nearby restaurants and cafes where we had a good dinner and fine morning coffee/croissants. Bike storage was safe ‘n’ easy in a small closet off the lobby. Hotel staff were cooperative.
