We have stayed at the hotel 3 or 4 times in past and we like the hotel very much but we're very disappointed with room we were allocated. I also thought I had booked it for £233 for that night but it turned out to be £288, alot I money for the facility we got

Fabulous hotel in the middle of Ambleside. Staff were all amazing ... fantastic customer service from everyone we encountered. Room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very clean and quiet. Plenty of free parking available on site. Public areas were expansive, relaxing and once again very well presented. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip for a longer period. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to all.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect – the kind of stay that leaves you wanting to come back even before you've checked out! The Location: Absolutely unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches made a big difference. Honestly one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The Staff: Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, we were made to feel at home and very well looked after. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. The Breakfast: Delicious! A fantastic spread with something for everyone – fresh, hot, and generous. Whether you're into a full English or lighter options, you’ll find plenty to love. The quality and attention to detail were excellent. Great stay in one of the loft rooms, staff were very helpful and the room itself was clean and spacious. Breakfast was also great, lots of choice and tasted good

The most amazing anniversary stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an amazing location with a lot of hikes nearby. The hotel room we stayed in had a hot tub in and it was lovely to relax. We attended the spa as well which was gorgeous!

Located in the center of Ambleside, the hotel is well run with helpful staff, a good restaurant, and a spa where I had an excellent massage.

Excellent hotel would recommend, best hotel in the Lake District, pool, gym and spa all wonderful thinking of everything. All staff very cheerful and helpful, they all go the extra mile, Thank you Salutation. C A Bradburn

Fantastic hotel, Couldn’t fault anything. Particular mention of Sophia who gave amazing service. Wonderful breakfast. Leisure centre is fantastic. Will return
