Travelodge by Wyndham Imperial - El Centro

Clean updated room. Great staff

Noise. Noise. Noise. Couldn’t sleep. (Jet noise off the charts. ) Fire alarm triggered by construction workers at 6am. I’ve stayed at airport hotels before, this was worse, way worse.

I spend three nights a week in the Imperial Valley and have stayed at many of the hotels in the area. After trying the recently updated Travelodge this week, I can confidently say it’s the best value I've come across. It’s very clean, centrally located, and features brand-new bathrooms, large TVs, and solid internet which is something that many of the more expensive hotels in the area struggle to deliver.

To describe this place as refurbished was ridiculous. Old, tatty, grubby, worn, unloved would be more accurate descriptions. A part of the bathroom wall was actually missing where a tile had come off, leaving a hole in the wall big enough for a family of rats to come through. It was game over for me when I sat down on the bed and a giant cockroach scurried across the floor from under it. I know the management keep saying they’ve just taken the place over but the only decent thing to do would be to shut the place down, thoroughly defumigate it and completely refurbish the place before subjecting anyone else to the painfully poor standards. This was one of the most uncomfortable nights I have ever spent in a hotel. Bring in the exterminators immediately!

Disappointed that there is no Breakfast. Bathroom was the same as before. Skungie! Bathtub caulk moldy, paint on walls peeling, just felt dirty. Also bathroom door was broke, could not close. All in all looks looks like not a lot of work put into these rooms.

See above and Refridgerator was broke. All my food froze. You have to put coffee maker on floor or in bathroom to use
