Staff members were wonderful and friendly the room was so nice and I loved the sounds of the ocean and beaches were so close walking distance The breezy air through the room was a welcome addition.

Room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Spa facilities were incredibly satisfying, with large windows, too, to enjoy the view of Morro Rock. Every room having a balcony is great, and I quite enjoyed the view I had(to the west to see the rock) The lobby and access in and out was convenient, particularly as a smoker. It was also really nice to have a dedicated bench and ashtray on the west side of the building. 99% of non-smoking hotels won't offer a smoking area at all, and I personally smoke to relax and like to sit as I do, so the bench was appreciated. Staff was super friendly and informative about local options to eat, as well as rewards for staying at the hotel provided by local places.

The only negative I really experienced was the layout of the bathroom: the toilet & shower are in a very tiny room with a door that swings inward, the fan switch also turns on a heat lamp (WHAT?) and oddest of all : the bathrooms all have windows that go into the public HALLWAY. We kept our bathroom window closed and blinds shut, but not everybody did...so as you are walking the hall to your room, you can see or hear people showering or using the toilet. Between the fan and hallway windows, there really isn't a way to air out the toilet area after using, lol. Odd design, in my opinion. But everything else was so lovely, it's quite a small thing and more odd than bad I would say.

Live bugs in the shower. Got all itchy after laying down on the bed. Rooms are very small and are joined with another room. Parking is very limited. Facility did not meet expectations as advertised. Left within 2 hours of checking in to a different hotel at 11 pm. Do not recommend for anyone.

Loved the spa and view accessibility to everything.
