Motel 6 Brush, CO

Their sign said pool and spa and I should have paid close attention to the ad. They didn’t have one either a pool or spa area. Also, there was a dog next to our room that would bark at all times of the day and night and it didn’t show on their ad that it was a pet friendly hotel. I can say it was clean and the attendant was very friendly.

Have stayed here several times and staff has always been pleasant and helpful. We visit family in area.

There was a lingering smell that was unpleasant

The bed and bathroom at first glance seem clean enough. But once you settle in you can tell that only the basics get done. Dust/dirt on blow dryer and chair are pretty thick. Stuff splattered on walls, carpet could use a good cleaning. We have stayed here before and it isn’t the first time they have messed up our reservation requests. We even called earlier in the week to verify that our 2 rooms were near each other and that one of them was a handicap room with a roll in shower. When we get there our rooms are on 2 different floors. We were told there was no way they would have been able to do them on the same floor that they had been booked for a year! When we went to request a room with a roll in shower we were told “That’s what you get for booking with a third party!” Wow! We know there are better places, but opted for the value and close proximity. Won’t be making that mistake again.

they were so understanding on our situation. they help us stay for a extra week, after a emergency delayed our leaving.
