"Disappointing value for a resort town hotel"

Big comfortable beds, good tv, remodeled showers.

No internet and lack of support from front desk and 800 number IT support in getting connected. Was told "oh yeah, those rooms in the 40's sometimes have bad connections" Bathroom sink was cracked. Coffee in the lobby was pretty awful.

"It was the perfect place for our four night stay."

Love love love the location, every night we sat out on the lawn looking at Mt Baldy.

The traffic is a horror but that isn’t the fault of the hotel, lots of road construction going on.

"No breakfast"

Don't count on a free breakfast. Stayed here on August 10, 2025. Breakfast was unavailable due to no workers showing up. Spent $34 on breakfast in town and asked the hotel to refund that mount on my $250 bill. Requested twice and the hotel did not respond either time. Won't stay here again.

"Mother Daughter Summer Getaway"

We had a lovely experience at the Tyrolean Lodge. We stayed two nights. The rooms were well laid out, clean and updated. There was enough space for our things and for us to spread out a bit (two queens with my two daughters and myself). The breakfast was great! The staff that worked the kitchen/breakfast area were excellent. The food was hot with lots of variety, the area was continually restocked and cleaned. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts, cereal, waffles, fruit and granola. We lounged at the pool and used the hot tub. The outdoor pool was a great option for midafternoon when we wanted to relax. We stayed on the second floor and had a view of the mountain there. Location was nice. Tucked away in a somewhat residential neighborhood. We went on a couple of walks and it was a delightful town. The ski/gondola is across the street--we didn't go but it was right there.

Only the price, but hey, it’s Sun Valley so I get it.
