SureStay Hotel by Best Western Camarillo

Pillows were half pillows, refrigerator didn’t work, like you can’t even give me a standard pillow? For 250 bucks??? You’ve got to be kidding me I know I’m traveling but I should get more than a couch pillow to rest my head on. Also smells musty, and we were woken at 730 am by room service to see if they could clean it. After a funeral !!! This was not what we needed at all

Decent choice for a convenient, affordable, and dog friendly stay in the Camarillo area. No frills, but very clean and comfortable room (we got a large room and it was a great size for two people, although the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable). The greeting at check in was rather lackluster, but it was quick and easy. The breakfast room provides good basics for breakfast while traveling and the blond woman who works in the breakfast room (I think her name is Jennifer?) is super sweet and accommodating! The jet bathtub in the room was AWESOME and we loved all the bright sunlight of the corner room. The parking lot fills up completely at night but we always found a well-lit space. You can definitely hear the traffic all night on the 101 freeway, so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs. Other than the sofa bed, no real complaints, and we would probably stay here again.

The hotel room was not up to standard. To begin the toilet would not flush i had walk down to the lobby to get the plunger to unclog it myself. Second the bathroom door haldle was about to fall off therefore had no privacy in the bathroom.

There was some spiders in the bathroom. The curtains on the window were torn, not enough blankets and where I parked my car. I was not happy because I didn’t know if I was gonna have a car when I get back up. I will never ever stay there again.

The hotel was quiet and very conveniently located for our stay in camarillo. It’s a bit old, although the rooms have been updated. No carpeting and pet friendly which is very nice. The manager was very attentive.
