Best Western Coach House

Since we're on our Route 66 road trip, we really liked the classic court-motel style. There's a lot to be said for being able to park right outside your room. Right on Route 66 and much quieter than expected. Checked all the cleanliness and accommodation boxes for us. Easy to recommend.

Very welcoming for pets. Sliding back door for easy access to yard for pets.

We were non smoking and in between 2 smoking rooms. Could smell it. I'm allergic so was a little bothersome. But I would stay again.

the facility was not kept up. The room smelled funny. There was something gross smeared on the mirror in the bathroom. I didn't feel comfortable there.

Did like until the front desk people began being snotty with me on my second day stay. She was hateful when I went up to pay for the forth night she said I was dnr and wouldn't give me an explanation as to why I left my make up bag in the room the lady told me that if housekeeping did find it they would give it to the manager and don't know where the manager puts the lost and found items. I asked her if she could explain to me as to why I was dnr she said she has customers and that I can't be on the property

Staff are rude nasty grumpy they don't enjoy there jobs and are horrible at customer service

The friendly, helpful staff upon check-in was a good. However, upon entering our room, we quickly discovered that this is not a “best”Western hotel. It is definitely a Worst Western hotel. Both beds and in the room seem to have been purchased in the 1960s, probably from a motel that had been open 20 or 30 years and had continuous to use the same beds. My bed had a depression in the middle that could have doubled as a small child’s wading pool. Upon laying down on the bed, gravity and the deep depression sucked me right in to a hammock shape. After a fitful night of sleep, I woke up with a backache that lasted for a couple of days and really made our trip much less pleasant. There is no way that hotel management is not aware of the torturous beds. Mattresses don’t break down over the space of a short time. This bed was so old and the box springs were so incredibly creaky and springless, that surely someone reported this in the 1970s. The service was great, and breakfast was good. The internet never worked. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but this motel has no business calling itself a “best“ anything.
