Americas Best Value Inn York

The dude who checked ud it was friendly and brought us a new office style chair after my wife sat in it and it broke in two (and she's not a lard ass or anything). Luckily she wasn't injured.

We were disappointed about 3 things. The toilet seat was very loose, the hair dryer didn't work and the bathroom door was nasty and rotted out on the bottom, hence moldy.

Very clean and beyond friendly

No grass or trees. Just seemed like a newly remodeled motel should have a nicer setting

At 8 o’clock in the morning of our checkout one of the owners knocked on our door multiple times to tell us once again that check out was at 11 and where to drop off the keys. The place was nice, but this was annoying and unnecessary to do.

The bad is Dirty room especially behind bed under bed, etc. Bugs of some sort all around. Dirty chairs, carpet, door lock sometimes worked, bed sheets and bed dirty! The good-hot water, good a/c, great people and easy access to the room-parking. Will not book here again!

The room needed a lot of fixing up and just appeared trashy.

There was so much noise till after midnight and the pillows were horrible. I couldn’t sleep

Everything was pretty good, but a big disappointment came when a stuffed lounge chair in the room was so old and dirty that my wife and I wouldn't even sit in it. The dirt on the armrest was caked on so thick that the chair will have to be disposed of. I'm surprised that in a room that seemed to be quite good, would have something like that to take away from all the rest of the good in the room.

For the price it was a 5+.
