The location of this place is fabulous ,just a short walk into Keswick Centre

Compared to other rental properties i have stayed in at Keswick, this place is not good value for money .It was the only available property left to book for the dates I wanted, so I had no alternative. On arrival, the first thing I noticed was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, so it was not my idea of a thorough clean. I expected the property to be spotless as i was denied check in 1 hour earlier at 15.00hrs. I feel the owners are more concerned with how much income they can generate from the properties and not the comfort of the customers. Granted it was July but after 8 hours walking the fells I would have liked the option to choose to put the heating on for an hour to thaw out but heating is on a timer from October to April but as most walkers are aware you can experience all 4 seasons in one day on the fells no matter what the time of year is. The bed was so uncomfortable I went out and bought a mattress topper. I'm trying to dig deep to come up with some positives, but all I can think of is location .

Location was perfect and having onsite parking was an added bonus

There was a problem with water. The shower was luke warm at best, we didn't actually have hot water for 2 days, not ideal. Fortunately I took an extension cable so I was able to dry my hair, don't forget to pack one.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet, TV, living room, fully equipped kitchen.

1_ Only one set of keys even by request. If 1 party left and locked the door, the other party was locked up and could not get out. Taxi driver had a hard time to find the building. No description where to locate the unit. We had to explore property with flashlight to find it since our train was late.

Clean accommodation a short walk into Keswick. Very quiet.

A little dated but perfectly comfortable and clean. Could do with some decent mugs

Excellent location for the lakes, walking distance to town centre.

Great Location, and spacious inside.
