The Grand Brighton

I saw on their facebook account that they giving some treats to their guests who are celebrating birthdays.I called 2x to informed them, I even purchase their wine, but no treats or greeting card when we arrive. Only then when a room service staff gave the ice bucket that I requested, I asked her if their really giving those kind of treat. She came back with just 4x chocolates, which is fine, I guess. Considering we stayed for 3x day 2 nights, had breakfast for 3. They even gave us the ugliest room. Down to last corner. No view and no balcony. Reception and concierge wont even greet you, just "hello" I even said "good morning" to them. I called room service 3-4x no one was answering. No toothbrush & toothpaste and no slippers. We have to call them to make a request. Didn't refill the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Mind you their are so tiny and we have to share it for 3 days for 3 pax. Breakfast was good. Bellhops are nice.

Very good on allergies at breakfast. Excellent and helpful concierge at door. Lovely, grand hotel in excellent location across road from beach, 10 minute walk to main shopping area.

Stuff excellent

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at The Grand. We loved the architecture and history of this beautiful hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities.
