Super 8 by Wyndham New Iberia

Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Especially the young lady housekeeker.

The first room we were put in smelled very musty rm111. The housekeeper was asked for some air freshener. She had just cleaned the room next door which did not have an odor. We moved to that one, Rm 112. We didn't notice until we sat down to watch TV that the couch was stained and looked dirty. The walls were badly in need of a paint job. Different paints were slapped here and there. The vent in the bathroom came on everytime the light was turned on and it was very loud and annoying. The bed cratered and sagged to the middle. A king bed should allow you some space. I would not stay there again.

Rooms wasn't clean not enough towel then went ask for some they told me 10 min still didn't get towels

Staff questioned us several times if it was 2 people staying or 4 because it was 4 of us but it was 2 people per room instead of checking in the first 2 it was if he couldn't focus on getting the 1st 2 in there room. Didn't go to breakfast Didn't feel comfortable to many men walking around smoking and young girls gave very uneasy feelings for myself and them.

The bathroom wasn't clean. The sheets had stains Way to many young girls in and out of rooms all night and men telling them what to do. For years my family stayed here for family reunions and this is why we picked it but in the past couple of years its not been kept up.but to feel safer and not have to worry about the traffic walking all night we will stay elsewhere.

They could've used more wall plugs to connect computer and other items.
