Motel 6-Alvin, TX

Absolutely nothing. The whole experience was horrible. Super dirty, smelt like weed. TV didnt work. Bathroom was dirty.

The location is good and very easy to access from the highway. They don’t serve breakfast but there are plenty of food places in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My room was nice. My only issue was under the bed. The dirt hadn’t been swept and dirt was pushed up against the baseboard. No compliment coffee in rooms but there was in the lounge. I had to do laundry. The dryer was not working. The manager said no worries and let me use an industrial dryer that the staff uses.

The staff was very nice and explained everything about the property. They called to verify our stay with them before our stay. They were very accommodating with all of our requests. We need ground-level rooms due to my wife having knee surgery and not being able to climb stairs. And our daughter-in-law had recently had a C-section and was also unable to climb stairs. So they were able to give us rooms on the ground level and next to each other. They were super nice people.

While everything was very clean. The morning we were departing we noticed a long black hair on the sheet. I have short black hair and my wife has light brown hair. Now it is very possible the hair may have been there after the washing of the sheets. I would hope that they do wash the bedding after each stay and are not just making the beds with the same bedding. As clean as everything else was I'm thinking and hoping it was a one-off incident. With all of that being said we would mostly stay there again if needed.

They don't serve breakfast at this location but it was clean and cozy except for the fact my refrigerator and microwave didn't work

Im dissatisfied about the inconvenience as mentioned above being diabetic my medicine has to be refrigerated and I have to eat during the day sometimes night based on my blood sugar and I brought groceries to put in fridge cook in microwave and it went to waste told the Hispanic lady that evening and she didn't seem to find it important to relocate us to a different room or bring a working refrig microwave.Sadly I didn't have any extra money to buy a ice chest so my groceries went to waste my medicine didn't get refrigerated so I had to throw it out as well and my medicine d

Easy and convenient to find and get to. Front desk was very nice and great to talk to.

Had a hard time getting remote for TV to work.
