The Lodge at Torrey Pines

The hotel rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic experience. Beautiful place with great amenities, design, art on the walls, etc., but this is really about the service. Took our mother/mother-in-law there for her 90th birthday. She doesn't golf, so it wasn't necessarily a logical choice but we wanted a very nice place near where she lives south of San Diego. Did not disappoint. Every member of the staff who knew it was her birthday went out of their way to celebrate her. The gestures were thoughtful and genuine, from a scripted chocolate greeting on a dinner plate to complimentary desserts to waiters and other team members making her feel truly special. It couldn't have been a more wonderful experience for her and us. The quality of the lodging was the icing on the birthday cake.

Wonderful place. Staff is excellent. Took my mother-in-law there for her 90th birthday and the staff consistently and genuinely went out of their way to celebrate her and fuss over her. Meals are excellent, property is beautifully maintained. We had a fantastic time.

We had an amazing stay at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. The lodge itself, including the lobby, restaurants and rooms have a wonderful understated elegance and charm. The staff are amazing -- incredibly professional, friendly and helpful without being obsequious. The pool is beautiful and has a great outdoor bar area. Probably best of all is the location, which offers breathtaking views, great hikes, abundant nature, and, if you're into golf, some of the best golf in the country. We missed it all the moment we left and cannot wait to return.

Setting, architecture of resort. Multiple places to sit and take in the views. Good at both the Grill and ARV were outstanding

Cleanliness around the pool area. Hot tub had empty wine glasses and used towels laying around it all afternoon. The tile around the hot tub had napkins, silverware and a scrunchie. The hot tub itself had a considerable amount of sand in it. Staff wasn’t outwardly helpful

Beautiful property. Stayed here for our babymoon and wedding anniversary. Loved the amenities, dining options, and location! Husband also played a round of golf here which was a plus. Will definitely be back this time with our baby! :)
