Clarion Inn Harpers Ferry-Charles Town

Wonderful front desk staff - super helpful and professional. I've forgotten her name, Iliana maybe? Breakfast room was large and bright and very clean. Breakfast materials were more than adequate. The free EV charger was an unexpected bonus.

Great location. Checked in 1/2 hour early.

Lots of little things that made it feel like the hotel needs some TLC. Faucet loose Dark room Toilet stained Shower stained Breakfast was hit or miss. Pool was ICE cold.

Clarion Inn is more like a motel, than a hotel. It is decent, basically clean and that is about it. Breakfast is good. If you stay with a pet, there is a $50 fee and you won't be staying in the main hotel building.

Room was clean and bed was comfy and sheets were lovely. Spacious room with plenty of power sockets. Good choice for breakfast and large breakfast room. Pool looked good. Handy having the White Horse Inn at the hotel for lunch/dinner.

Wifi was very poor in our room and in areas around the hotel. Hotel was dated and in need of modernisation. The lobby toilets were not cleaned regularly enough. Fridge in room was very noisy and it was a shame the windows didn't open for fresh air.

They do not have carts if you go to the Pet Building. Which was clean and quiet and they do have a nice lighted walking area for your pet behind the building. Carts are only available in the main building but you can drag them up the hill to the pet building. The beds were comfortable. The problem we had was the bathroom. You would open the door and hit the sink. The sink, toilet and tub are in a very confined area if you don't mind it. All in all it was OK but you don't have many choices in Harper's Ferry.

The bathroom is very small. And, breakfast options are fair.
