Horrible Hotel way below Hilton Standard, they charged us $30 for 3 small water bottles. The rooms were Dirty and you kept having an uneasy feeling about it all.

"Deeply disappointing stay"

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Brisbane. Not only did the bathroom sink malfunction—requiring engineering to come up and fix it—but the overall experience was far below the standard I expected from a Hilton property. The most troubling part came the day after I checked out, when I realized I had forgotten an item that I am absolutely certain I left in a drawer in my room. I contacted the hotel immediately, yet after several attempts to follow up with management and housekeeping, I was repeatedly told that “all drawers were checked” and that nothing was found. This felt dismissive and unhelpful, and I’m left with the impression that the item was either thrown away or kept by staff. The complete lack of accountability was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, the charge for incidentals ended up being higher than the nightly room rate, which is shocking and feels unreasonable. Parking fees were equally exorbitant. Overall, this was an unfortunate and disappointing stay. Between the maintenance issues, the missing item, and the excessive charges, I can’t recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"

The room was extremely dirty, with stains everywhere and broken furniture, front desk staff was unhelpful and rude, food from the restaurant was beyond disgusting and staff did not tell the truth about what was in one of the dishes, leading to an allergic reaction from someone in my family who was told specifically there was only natural juices and no garlic in the chicken only for it to be completely covered in garlic.
