Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Florence

Very accessible, easy to access. Location had a few great spots for dining

The room was dusty, bed linen had stains. Wholes in the wall.

It's was very comfy and small! It's was never busy in the hallways! It was quite and I just loved everything about it! Such a cute place and the rooms are adorable!! Very clean!! Around so many places, so many in walking distance! Laura and the guy that wears the baseball Adidas cap, were very attentive and amazing! These two people were the reason we came back for another stay!! Laura is a amazing women and she will be right there to help you if you need anything. She is a very good friend as well! She would always smile at you and ask how you are, she is great! The baseball cap guy I never caught his name but he was very nice and would always greet everyone that walks in with a smile! Also if you have your do not disturb sign up, they will not disturb you.

Only things I didn't like at all were only the other two men. Never caught their names, but they were rude!!!!! Very rude!!! They honestly weren't my favorite part about the stay. They could be a little nicer, working in a hotel.

This hotel is ideal for "sleeping" when traveling up/down I-95. It has just what you need for a place to stop.

The sign on the main road is shattered/blown out. If you don't know what you are looking for or where to go, you would miss it. The hotel is very clean but shows its age/wear in some places.

Close to the highway and lots of places to eat. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Every special request I made was accommodated. Staff were all pleasant.

I was traveling alone and I got lost I went on the web and booked the room because it seemed to be the closest to where I was according to GPS. I called the hotel and the gentleman that answered the phone was very nice and gave me directions. Unfortunately I am night blind and it was very dark I was scared and alone. I got lost again. I pulled over and I called the hotel again the same gentleman answered he gave me the address calmed me down because I was crying and was very very nice. I did as he said and put the address in the GPS unfortunately like blindness took over and I took a wrong turn again so it took me awhile but I finally got there but in the meantime the gentleman actually called to check on me because I should have been there sooner and he was worried. Who does that? I was amazed at the concern that he had for me. When I walked in the door he looked up me with the biggest brightest smile and said Miss Fields you made it! He made me feel like I mattered. He was the best hotel agent I have ever worked with. I've done a lot of traveling I've stayed at all the hotels. And I wish I could remember his name! But I was a mess a total mess! But he checked me and he calmed me down he made me laugh and he was totally concerned about me. I will forever remember this experience and if I'm ever in Florence South Carolina again I will definitely be stopping in to say hi and bring him a present! Whenever possible I will be staying at Microtel in my travels because I do travel a lot! Also just to add the whole hotel was very clean my room was immaculate and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Met the manager of the next morning at checkout and he was just as pleasant. I let him know that his employee was a very special person. A very very special person
