B&B Residenza Cavour

Sehr zentral gelegen, sehr geschmackvoll renovierte Altbauwohnungen, netter Empfang

Lediglich der Straßenlärm durch die benachbarten Cafés usw. war etwas störend, es wurde erst spät ruhiger. Aber wir konnten trotzdem ganz Gut schlafen.

Die Ausstattung war schön, das Zimmer aber nicht geheizt und wir waren die ganze Nacht von Lärm geplagt. Bis 4 Uhr Disco Sound, schlecht isoliert, oben ist jemand hin und her gegangen, wir haben jeden Schritt gehört. Wir sind gerädert aufgestanden und konnten unsere Dinge am nächsten Tag nicht erledigen.

Der Lärm und zwar extrem, wir konnten nicht einmal mit Oropax schlafen

Το κλιματιστικό δεν δούλευε καλά με αποτέλεσμα 35 βαθμούς έξω και 30 μέσα. Με 200+ ευρώ η βραδιά. Κανείς δεν ασχολήθηκε να δώσει λύση, αφού η δισχειριστρια/ ιδιοκτήτρια είναι μόνο στο τηλέφωνο, και κυρια απο τις Φιλιππίνες με πολύ βασικά αγγλικά προσπαθεί να συνεννοηθεί. Δεν υπάρχει ρεσεψιόν αλλά ένα δωματιακι με καρέκλα με ένα ντουλαπάκι που περιέχει μόνο το POS για να προπληρώσεις τη διαμονή. Παλιό ασανσέρ με κάτι κλεισίματα. Εγκαταστάσεις του προηγούμενου αιώνα, ασυντηρητες. Έγραφε Πρωινό, χωρίς να διευκρινίζει ότι είναι συγκεκριμενος τύπος Πρωινου σε κάποιο καφέ έξω, με κάρτα.. Το κτίριο έχει γραφεία και εταιρείες, και σε έναν όροφο τα δωμάτια. Το κυριότερο πρόβλημα μετά την απουσία κλιματισμού που έκανε αδύνατη τη διαμονή, ήταν τα κοντά κρεβάτια. 1,80+ και δεν χωρεσαμε. Γενικά η περιγραφή στη booking δεν έχει καμία σχέση με την πραγματικότητα.

Everything about Residenza Cavour was great. They were very communicative and met us when we arrived to check us in quickly. Camilla took excellent care to explain everything to us. Our room was a family room with a US-king and a small sofa bed. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure and hot water basically on demand. The shower is not large tho. We found both the bedroom bed and the sofa bed to be very comfortable. This is not a frilly place, but it is very clean and incredibly convenient. The B&B is the second floor of an old apartment building. There is a small elevator for bags. We arrived by taxi from Milan airport in less than an hour. We departed by train and it was an easy walk to the station. During our stay there was a ferry strike, but if we’d been able to take one the ticket office and docs were essentially across the street. We walked to the funicular for a trip up to Brunate and we wandered the squares and enjoyed cocktails. We took Camilla’s recs for dinner and were not disappointed. All in all a wonderful two days in Como.
