第二天身上有红色疹子，不知道是有小虫还是过敏，但我不是过敏体质，之前在其他酒店也没有类似情况

Gostamos do conforto da cama e dos travesseiros. Banho bom e café da manhã muito bom, lareira dentro dos quartos com possibilidade de acedimento por 30, 60 e 90 min, sem falar na possibilidade de provar queijos e vinhos realizado no horário das 17h (não sabemos se isso acontece todos os dias, mas foi ótimo).

Não teve nada que não gostamos.

No Air Conditioning

The location was great — we were able to explore Monterey on foot. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the wine-and-cheese evening. The bathroom in our room was good.

The biggest issue was the front desk staff and the misleading pet fee policy. We arrived at 3:00 PM and politely asked whether our room might be ready. The front desk employee told us it would likely be available within 15–30 minutes and even confirmed my phone number so they could text me when it was ready. Unfortunately, we never received a text and were given the keys exactly at 4:00 PM. If the room was not available before check-in time, that would have been completely understandable, but the communication created expectations that were never addressed. A simple update or apology would have been appreciated. The pet fee situation was even more disappointing. Before booking, I specifically checked the property’s Q&A section, which stated that the pet fee was $30 per pet. Upon arrival, we were charged $50 instead. When I pointed out that this information was not reflected in the booking details, I was told that it was not her responsibility and that I should have called the hotel or submitted a new question online. As a guest, I found that response frustrating, especially since I had relied on the information provided by the property. I asked whether any accommodation could be made given the discrepancy, but was told no. I then requested to speak with a manager and was informed that they would be available the following morning at 9-10 AM. However, when I returned, I was told the manager was not there. The room itself was also disappointing. The facilities felt outdated, some outlets were not working, which prevented us from using a lamp and the refrigerator, the balcony door required significant force to open, and the room had a stale smell. Overall, the inaccurate pet fee information, lack of follow-up, and the way our concerns were handled left us disappointed with the experience. This was not the level of service we expected based on the reviews we had read before booking.

The first room assigned had a terrible humming noise from something on the roof and I needed to ask the main office for a change of rooms. They changed my room immediately. Very helpful and accommodating staff.
