"Rundown and shabby"

Location. Walking distance to Cannery Row, Aquarium and restaurants. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Property looks nice from the outside.

It was run down and shabby - not 'outdated' or 'vintage' as others have described it. Old damaged and warn out furniture and carpets. The sheets were so worn out and thin ours had holes in and had to be replaced. Definitely needs money invested in all of it! Very small breakfast room. Crowded and difficult to get to food. Food wasn't replenished regularly. First morning I asked if there was more fruit (just one bananas and less than a handful of grapes left) and was told 'NO'. Paying $17 per day for parking! As if staying there wasn't expensive enough! Only one thin blanket provided on bed
