"Legendaarinen Ilves! "

Siisti hotelli ja huoneet. Kovalla helteellä varmaan koko hotellin ilmastointi on tiukilla, joten ei sitä parasta tehoa joka huoneeseen riitä. Oli siis aika lämmin huone, mutta hyvin nukutti mukavassa sängyssä. Aamupalan kruunaa mustamakkara, tottakai!!

P-halli täynnä. Vaikea löytää autolla hotellin pihalle jos ei ole ennen ajanut alueella. Voisi olla iso kyltti (opaste nuoli kadun reunalla ”hotelli Ilves”) koska autoilija täytyy seurata liikennettä ja hotellin viereisellä kadulla runsaasti jalankulkijoita ja skuuteilla ajavia. ) kaiken lisäksi yllättäen kieltomerkki Valtakadulle.

Helppo saapua juna-asemalta kävellen, laukkujenkin kanssa. Siisti suuri huone, hyvät näkymät Ratinalle. Kylpyhuoneessa ammeen reunan korkeus saattaa olla haastava joillekin. Mahtava aamupala, runsas ja maukas. Meidän porukka tykkäsi hotellin edestä lähtevästä Katujunasta (kesäisin), jolla päästiin vähän erilaisella kyydillä Särkänniemeen.

Hyvä hotelli ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Laukun saaminen säilytyksestä kesti, kun sisäänkirjautuvia oli paljon. Voisiko sitä jotenkin suunnitella niin, että laukun ssisi haettua ns. jonon ohi.
