Das Hotel wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr ansprechend und ausgefallen.

Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt nicht unseren Erwartungen. Das Personal wirkte insgesamt wenig zuvorkommend. Bei der Ankunft sowie beim Verlassen des Hotels wurden wir kaum begrüsst oder verabschiedet. Das Zimmermädchen war vermutlich die freundlichste Person im ganzen Haus. Auch der Service an der Bar war enttäuschend. Die Bar wurde vor der offiziellen Schliesszeit geschlossen, sodass wir keine Getränke mehr bestellen konnten. Für den Wechsel eines Strandtuchs wurden 20 EUR verlangt, obwohl wir sieben Tage vor Ort waren. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war ebenfalls nicht zufriedenstellend. Benutzte Wassergläser wurden während unseres Aufenthalts kein einziges Mal ersetzt, und der Boden blieb über die gesamten sieben Tage schmutzig. Ein weiterer Punkt ist die Lage: Der Aufstieg zum Hotel ist sehr mühsam. Es gibt keine direkte Busstation, und man muss jeweils noch rund zehn Minuten Treppen steigen, bis man beim Hotel ankommt. Die Reception war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts oft abwesend oder mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt, anstatt sich aktiv um die Gäste zu kümmern. Insgesamt fehlte uns die Gastfreundschaft, Aufmerksamkeit und Servicequalität, die man bei einem Hotelaufenthalt erwartet.

"Clean, friendly and exactly what was advertised."

Hesperia Mallorca is a smallish, friendly, clean hotel that provides exactly what it promises. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast very good. It is a distance from the centre but walkable when it isn’t too hot. Taxis are readily available and not expensive. We were able to get a late check out for €10 an hour and our room was ready early for check-in with no additional charge. We would definitely stay again!

Nothing. If you want a city centre hotel with a bar and surrounded by restaurants, this is not the place for you.
