"decent hotel"

we stayed for 1 night on our way home from Ocean City Maryland. We arrived around 9pm at night and no one was at the desk. There were however 2 men standing outside the main entrance smoking which didn't leave my daughter and I feeling 100% comfortable. We waited about 10 minutes at the front desk before someone appeared. We got checked in and during that time the 2 men from outside came in and waited behind us to speak with the person worker. Thankfully he did not announce my room number when handing me the keys. This is a large, rambling hotel, we walked down quite a few hallways before getting to our room. IT was a suite with a kitchen, eating are, living room area and bed. The bed was comfortable. We were on the 1st floor and the people above us were heavy on their feet, I ended up needing to put in ear plugs. There were also quite a few dogs barking which added to the noise level which was annoying. Breakfast the next morning was good, hot and there were options.

I have stayed here many,many times for work. Always kind staff, rooms are spotless and always let me check in early. Great place will continue to stay there.

I was not happy with the fact there was trash in the stair way. The towels had holes in them. I had to ask for a proper towel twice. The doors are dirty. And the breakfast food was not fresh. Very unhappy stay will not stay there again.

Airamist Darby was such a pleasure at the front desk and so incredibly helpful. I travel quite a bit for work and my sons sports, and I’ve never encountered such friendly and helpful staff when staying at hotels. She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs and made sure to follow through. Wish every hotels staff was as welcoming and pleasant as she was.
