Sweet aroma of cigarettes in the lobby, first thing you smell. The first room they put us in had a huge area of standing water, they moved us rooms. The second room smelled like chlorine and embalming fluid. The ceiling was cracked so bad I thought our 3rd floor neighbors would soon be joining us. The beds were lumpy; your back sits 3” above your lower body. The shower was either arctic cold or Amazon hot. We would’ve been better off sleeping in our car and then showering with water bottles. Thank God it was only for one night!

NEW MANAGEMENT is exceptional. Hotel is very clean and fresh. Our king suite was spotless, brightly lit, and everything was in perfect working condition. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub which felt amazing after our long business days. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good with 3 hot choices daily as well as waffles, fresh fruits, pastries, and yogurt. We will always stay at this location when in the Waterloo area whether for business or leisure.
