First impressions, Spa, breakfast

No TV remote in room on arrival, had to message reception. Room had cob webs in corner of the room (near TV) The room had what looked like a "Crime Scene" on one wall, this was not evident until the natural light shone on it in the morning. Reception was informed of this on our departure (images shown too)

Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and clean.

Room had paint flakes in the bathroom that appeared to come from a poorly fitted light fitting. This was cleaned up on second request but still present on leaving. Problems with payments caused some stress for the whole stay. One day reception person was un helpful but another on the evening reception was helpful. Problem was explained as caused by internet link at the time of initial payment.

Didn't,t realise duck filled pillows and duvet in all Hilton rooms, and I have asthma/ allergy to feathers, so a bit wheezy in the night. Next time we book, I will request synthetic pillows and duvet, otherwis every satisfied with the room, facilities and professional staff. 😊

Beautiful old historic property..very large spacious room with two double beds It would have been perfect with air conditioning, they did provide fans Good breakfast lots of choice Great pool sauna and hot tub

It’s a bit far to walk to all the attractions and shops restaraunts. No air conditioning ? The Uk had a heat wave and it was uncomfortable.
