"Sub 5 star hotel, disappointing rooms."

This is not really a 5 star hotel, generally service is good but check-in was appalling and took forever. Booked a 'suite' and was told I had been upgraded so had high expectations, so very disappointed to walk into what is just a very bland room with tired decor. Not a suite at all, let alone an upgrade from a suite to something even better! The views from the rooms though are fantastic, and the private beach is stunning. The sea is lovely and warm, but empty with all the Asians preferring to wear lifejackets and head to the pool instead, something which I've never understood! So the pools are busy but the private beach and sea very quiet (and the place to go if you ask me!) I have read other reviews but don't agree there is nothing around the local area, just a 20 minute walk down the hill and you are in the centre of Pattaya and Walking Street. Been a couple of times for short weekend stays, but don't think I'll be back. The rooms (advertised as suites) simply don't live up to expectations and what you normally get from a 5 star hotel, despite the view.

Nice hotel with over advertised rooms. These are not suites, just rooms with a small partial fake wall to make it sound nice. Poor process in handling injured guests. Still scare on my leg more than a month afterwards. Beautiful location overpriced restaurant. Please note all balconies allow smoking.

Room service is quite slow, whenever ask for things e.g. more pillows, fixing the bathroom doors, setting up baby cot, taking time to wait for providing their services. The beach here cannot play as the sand is too tough and the sea has the boat which makes the sea is not clean enough to play, but the swimming pool here is great with the view especially for sunset!
