Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya

Dirty beach, never cleaned. Bar opening hours very limited.

Hotel decided to have construction (very loud hammering & power tools noise)in the room above & front desk manager wanted to have me moved to another room rather than have he construction done when the rooms below are unoccupied!!!

Its a ‘beach hotel’ without a beach. Really disappointed to find a concrete terrace with no sand swimming beach. Described the mini suite as sleeping four, but was only given two single beds. Not great for a family situation. All ‘amenities’ are not free, but incur a surcharge. Expensive breakfast buffet. Not really a good deal for a weekend away from Bangkok.

The hotel was great, even thought all activities stop around 11 pm but it was nice place to stay at.

Very good value deal for a seaview mini suite. But dear Royal Cliff dont be so stingy on the welcome drink. That mixture from the chemical lab u gave us as only available choice was not drinkable. Better not offer anything instead. The poolside service could improve too.

The rooms are not quiet tiled floors you hear everyone moving around and constant slamming of doors ...i did ask for a quiet room

This hotel is understaff. We booked the Christmas Eve dinner and had to wait 45 mins for the entree and when the food came out it was cold. Also, I went to get a manicure & pedicure at the salon. When they finished, they add on another charge for polish. I never heard of a manicure & pedicure do not include polish. I send an email to the hotel and never received a response. I will never go back to this hotel again. I didn’t give them the lowest rating because the staffs did work hard.

Private beach access, beautiful pools, lovely spa experiences, great service.

Very unhappy with the staff at the hotel, after checking out and them checking the room and I’m out the hotel I get accused of robbing their alcohol. After a 45 minute conversation of going backwards and forwards they say you’re not to blame. Very bad experience and waste of time missed my flight because of their nonsense

This is a high end resort facility. They have pretty much anything and everything at this resort (for a price). It is quite expensive on the property. Meals are outrageously overpriced and a taxi from the hotel is easily 3x (or higher) of a regular taxi. The resort is huge so you feel trapped. You cant walk anywhere and always have to book a taxi. Dont book a taxi from the hotel. Use grab or uber as you will save tons of.money. I'm not a cheap person, i just dont like paying way more than you need to, when you can walk 1 min off the resort and pay 1/8 of the price for a meal, taxi, or amenities. Beautiful rooms, resort is gorgeous, and pool is amazing. Other than the price of everything else, its nice.
