Dirty hallways , carpets and unkept entry. The room was clean but the couch was pretty stained - doubt I’ll stay there again.

The property met our needs in Ames. The room was compact, but functional. The price was good.
This hotel needs work. Stains on the carpet in the stairwell; floor of the bathtub was grey (soap scum?); duvets need cleaning; sheets were thin. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The coffee was undrinkable. On a positive note, the staff were very pleasant and the beds are comfortable. We would not return to this hotel.

Everything was easy and comfortable. We were traveling as a family, needed a place to stay for 1 night. Nothing fancy, just quick clean and comfy. The breakfast selection was more tha. I expected. We would stay there again.
The A/C unit clanged all night and made it hard to sleep - I got in really late and was too tired to consider changing rooms so I didn’t report it until check out
