Lovely hotel but a bit pricey. Have nevertheless booked to go back again next week. Staff delightful.

City location (main road etc) would not have been my first choice, but easy to get to and good underground parking with direct access to lobby. Main gripe: fridge / minibar in room, but empty 😡. Was dying of dehydration when arrived late night in middle of massive heatwave - only tap water available to drink. No idea why, but this seems to be a common failing in Lucerne hotels of no what matter what category. Management should sort it, though.

Unfortunately there was a fault in that the cupboard light didn't go of when the door closed over which it didn't do fully and this left light in the room at night which affected our sleep quality

At CHF 300 per night you expect more than a tiny room with a narrow bed even if you booked a single room.

No breakfast available before 7am. I had a train departure at 7am and no opportunity to even get a coffee before departure.
