Wellington Park Hotel

Stayed in the Wellington Park Hotel for a hen/Stag on the August bank holiday. The staff were unbelievable. They helped sort rooms for the large group, were so patience and understating. The lady behind the desk helped us order taxis when every company was booked and overall made sure we had a good time in Belfast. Robert the Manager helped us get into next door even when it was fully booked, and had no issue for any requests that anyone had. Overall they added to the hen/stag experience and it’s a great place for a hen/stag of a large group to stay. Also a great late night bar with wonderful and pleasant staff.

To be fair the rooms were large and clean all though extremely well worn, the on site car park was good and £7.50 for the stay. No real hospitality on check-in other than to say no food in the hotel. The carpets are extremely stained throughout the property. It is budget friendly but seemed to be full of groups of people there to party, we expected some noise from the nightclub next door but the noise from other residents, banging doors and partying until almost 3am, honestly good spot if you are out for a cheap night out but not family friendly at all. Very tired children and parents we checked out by 8am .

Shabby chic without the chic. Humming noise in room all night long. Location wasn't bad - close to Queen's Univeesity. Sheets were dirty. Customer service wasn't great. Would not recommend. Bar not welcoming.

Absolutely disgusted. Currently waiting on a room to be cleaned, after arriving to room within five minutes had to leave as it was that disgusting. Paid £109 for one night. Missing reservations with friends as currently sitting in "lobby". Manager emphasised fact that hotel is only a three star. I have been in hostels with better hygiene. I am talking pee stains, public hair on soap dishes, dust, hair in sheets, stained cutlery. Passing blame on maid. This hotel is a liability in the covid pandemic. Shocked.

My hubby and I recently stayed at the Wellington park with my parents on a night away in Belfast. My parents had stayed before last year and had mentioned to us it needed some work done. Our room was spotless and bathroom great. The shower could be a bit more powerful if to pick anything but it works and the water was lovely and warm. The staff where lovely and friendly and we had a great time.

Hotel located very close to Queen's University and Botanic Gardens. Very good size rooms, spacious and clean. My only gripe was we could not control the radiator in the room and it was hot all night and also very noisy. Our room had a mezzanine area with a stairs leading up to it. We had a couple of drinks in the hotel bar, you had to scan a QR code and pay for the drinks remotely and have them brought to the table. Breakfast was nice with a reasonable choice. Staff were quite nice. The hotel offers free parking but it's very hard to secure a space on a busy weekend

Stayed here this weekend with a group of friends. Have to say the staff were absolutely fantastic, especially John, who couldn't be more helpful especially when my car battery died when we were about to leave.

Carpets stained no bulb in the hallway girl on reception attitude was really bad could smell old smoke hair in the bathroom sink will defo not go back I never continue my stay I went else where

My food In. restaurant was ok but my problem was the people in the room next door kept me awake with there love making when I said to reception on checkout all they did was snigger at me so I’m afraid I won’t be going back as I’ve stayed in lots of different hotels across the world n never had this problem before

We had booked 3 rooms in the hotel as we were celebrating my daughters birthday . Dinner was organised for the 9 of us that evening . We had our own little dining room and our waiter Michael looked after us splendidly all evening . The manager Peter was helpful and friendly and did all he could to make it a lovely stay .Thank you all for a lovely weekend.
