Ocean view and beach access

The seagulls were all over the balcony so you couldn’t go outside. The staff wasn’t helpful with reservations for dinner or at the spa. The facilities were old and not so clean. There was also a very loud wedding. Too expensive for the quality in my opinion.

De kamer was heel schoon . En het hotel heeft een hele mooie ligging.

Ons bed was echt heel slecht , er zaten gewoon kuilen in het bed. Dit aangegeven bij de receptie maar werd verder niks mee gedaan .Ontbijt was ook niet echt 5 sterren waardig . Badkamer ook niet van deze tijd , douchen in het bad met echt een hoge en brede instap. En dan hangt er een handdouch. Echt jammer kost toch heel veel geld

Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en goed.

Het personeel in de ontbijtzaal is onhandig en onoplettend. Ik zag een serveerster vijf minuten lang rond lopen met een gebakken eitje voor een gast,en wist niet waar ze zijn moest.

Personeel heel vriendelijk. Kamer aan de kleine kant. Televisie was teleurstellend, meer dan de helft van de zenders werkten niet.

Het pand heeft op verschillende plaatsen een onderhoudsachterstand.

"A beautiful and iconic beachfront hotel in an unbeatable location, with friendly staff and plenty of charm."

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. Being right on the beachfront and promenade made it the perfect base for exploring Scheveningen and The Hague. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of character, with a grand historic feel that makes your stay feel special. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated how easy it was to access public transport and nearby attractions.

The breakfast wasn’t to my liking but it was not anyone’s fault.
