Homewood Hotel & Spa

Overall enjoyed the stay, service was slow with the food on the Sunday evening which was sad. We weren’t told until the meal that Sunday roast had ended. Room was ok for one night. All staff were lovely however just seemed like there was no official management.

A beautiful hotel, thoughtfully decorated with lovely gardens. The spa was gorgeous, the food was lovely with plenty of choice and the staff friendly and helpful. We brought our dog and found the hotel well set-up for dogs with them allowed in all areas aside from the spa (which is understandable). They even left treats for the dog in the room! Our room was kitted out with a fan and an air con unit which for a hot weekend was helpful. We explored Bath, Freshford and Bradford on Avon very easily from this location. We would definitely consider returning.

The room was slightly on the small side with a lot of large furniture (2 armchairs, plus a table between) which was fine although a bit of a squeeze with the dog bed, fan & AC unit. The bathroom on the other hand was massive so we did put the dog in there at times as it was much cooler than the room with the tiled floor and more windows. The hotel is on a fairly busy A road but this did quieten down at night so was not a problem.

Great place, everything you need for a relaxing time! Love the pool/spa.

Waiting service patchy. Had to chase at both meals to take orders and lay my own table for breakfast.

We loved the property and all The great staff. Enjoyed a great country walk, amazing food and a great day around the pool. The staff don’t seem Like they work in a hotel, more like we stayed at their house for the weekend. Thanks for an amazing stay.

The wasps. But that is no one’s fault. Lol.
