The Golden Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Stay here everytime we come to Golden.

The location is outstanding and the bed was comfortable

The property is run down. There were three burned out lightbulbs in our room and one lamp that didn't work at all (even with a good lightbulb). The bathroom had sticky stuff on the floor. When we asked for them to clean the bathroom when we left in the morning (you have to request any services) it still was not cleaned when we got back at 5 pm. We talked to front desk when we went to dinner and they just dropped off towels and no new coffee pods. It seems like they are an old nice hotel that has let itself go, has a morning desk clerk who is very disengaged and is resting on its ideal location.

Very friendly staff, decent food, and clean rooms in the heart of downtown Golden.

Staff and location were great. Glad to see the restaurant is going through a renovation. That being said, hopefully the rooms and bathrooms in the rooms will be next as they are very outdated.

Great place

The room was large and clean. The robes were a great touch and the restaurant and bar are convenient. The desk staff was friendly as well.

Everything about the property is wonderful. Front desk is amazing, property itself is beautiful, great location
