Novotel Lyon Bron Eurexpo

Beautiful hotel with theme arcade games. Very nice. Enough free parking spaces. Clean room and enough space. The breakfast was in Novotel, with more choice than normal in Ibis Styles, but the service was a disaster. Many staff members, but like running chickens. They put egg in the microwave (it’s not fresh), you need to wait almost 10 min before it’s ready, and then it’s still cold. Also 2x need to wait 5mins for croissants, and also for fruit. Normally I spend about 45min max at the breakfast, but now it was 1u20(!) because of the very slow service. With more than 700kms to drive that day it wasn’t a nice surprise. The staff where very friendly, that was more than ok.

Beds, mattress and pillows were very comfortable, unfortunately there was a wedding and we were the closest room to the reception and the wedding guests appeared to have no control over there small children (5/6/7/8) running riot well after 11pm. My wife hardly slept, and my sleep was interrupted. We stayed on the way down with no issues and hence we returned,but our return trip was spoilt by this unfortunate turn of events.

Very family friendly hotel. We really enjoyed the restaurant. Would stay there again.

Das erste Zimmer was wir bekommen haben hat unangenehm gerochen, scheinbar aus der Klimaanlage, zudem lag von den vorherigen Nutzern des Zimmers Müll unter dem Bett, das Zimmer war also nicht ordentlich gereinigt. Das nächste Zimmer welches wir als Ersatz bekommen haben war etwas besser was den üblen Geruch angeht aber doch auch ähnlich.

Hôtel très bien 125 euros pour une famille de 4 personnes par nuit petit déjeuner compris, 90 euros c est le prix idéal, mais bon en plein de mois de juillet vous payez toujours plus chère. Chambre propre et tres calme et petit déjeuner correcte.

I liked it a lot, its in good condition, lots of fun activities for kids, nice room, easy to access, good breakfast. My only grumble would be the price of a beer, though it seems novotel always charge silly money at the bar. I will stay there again.

Blev matförgiftad i restaurangen vilket förstörde ca 2 dagar av semestern. Frukosten var inte okej, fanns inget bröd och inga tallrikar eller muggar till kaffet. Poolen var väldigt kall.
