Hedland Hotel

Good location, had everything we needed and was next door to great pub for dinner and sunset views

Staff were not knowledgeable. Room was poorly appointed.

Breakfast fair, location beautiful

The hotel was situated directly adjacent to Cemetry Park Beach which was abolutely stunning. It was a beautiful day when I visited, common for North West WA, and it was so photogenic. There is a lovely walk-way from just outside the grounds of the hotel and along the beach or you can walk down on to the beach for a walk along sand or flat rock. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a lovely touch, I do love the smell of a freshly brewed coffee. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Good AC though it was not so hot at this time of year (June).

The bathroom is a little dated and the shower head is largely scaled up - the water in WA is quite hard. About 50% of the outlets were not working which did also effect the power of the shower but it was nice and hot with a good temperature control from the mixer taps. The toilet was clean but the sink and floor could of done with a better scrub and something to life away the hairs rather than group them at the edges of the wet room.
