Fabulous Art Hotel. Enjoyed everything about it!

Been staying here 20 years or more. Not the best effort this time

Historic Art hotel. It was an adventure - not a typical hotel stay. Everyone there was exceptionally nice

Cleaning staff, valets, and front desk personnel were most kind, friendly and extremely hospitable. Tour of lobby's art exhibit was led by a woman (whose name escapes me) who arranged the exhibit and answered my many questions about each painting/ art piece and the artist who creeated it. The night manager, Gregory, was especially friendly and helpful to me on the night I arrived. We chatted at length.

We stay here often and it is a wonderful inn. The staff is superb. We love Harvey. He always goes out of his way. All of the staff are really great!

Everyone from The Vendue was so communicative and accommodating! The location was excellent and the art and rooftop bar were amazing. I would highly recommend staying here

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and such a unique experience. The staff was very friendly and the extra touches like the champagne at check in and bottle of wine for the room was such a nice touch. Would highly recommend the hotel.

arrived in Charleston bright and early thanks to an earlier-than-expected flight, which meant our room wasn’t ready… for over six hours. Whoops! Totally on us. But wow—the Vendue staff turned that potential hiccup into the beginning of a truly magical stay. They happily took our bags and handed us a complimentary umbrella so we could explore the city without a hitch (which came in handy when the skies opened up later in the day). Just as we were starting to feel soggy and winding down at a bar nearby, we got the BEST call—our room was ready early and we’d been upgraded! From that moment on, it was pure bliss. The service was above and beyond. From complimentary breakfast and morning mimosas to daily afternoon wine tastings, every detail made us feel spoiled in the best way. And walking into the lobby late at night to find warm cookies and milk waiting? That sealed the deal. I’ve been to Charleston many times and had actually told myself this would be my last trip back—but now I’m already planning a return just to stay at The Vendue again. It was that good. 100000% recommend.
