Best Western Plus Placerville Inn

The hotel was in the middle of renovations. The dust and air quality in the room made it difficult to breath and I ended up with a sore throat that lasted for the next 2 days. Our room was next to a noisy freeway. Breakfast was more than we expected with eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, yogurt, waffles and much more provided. It was replenished as necessary. Staff were helpful and available. The room was stocked with tea, coffee and accompaniments with a pot to heat water and a refrigerator.. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were tiny on a king bed.

There was a leak in my room as I was on the top floor. It looked like it had been repaired before. I hadn’t noticed it when I first checked in. It rained the first night so the repair obviously didn’t work. I was given a new room but I don’t think that room should have been rented out in the first place. Also my key rarely worked to get into the building.

We did use the hot tub and it seemed clean

Very clean room. Friendly staff. Coin laundry was great. Nice pool.

I had a very wonderful stay. The room was very clean and nicely put .The bed and pillows we’re very comfortable Staff was very helpful and polite and I would definitely stay again.

Outdated, no elevator, not worth the price, broken refrigerator in room, need better appliances for breakfast area for the price they charge for the room. They price gouge.

Staff were the high point of this visit, made us feel very welcome. The facilities and amenities are fine for the price. We were driving up from SF bay area for whitewater rafting and wanted to get the driving done the night before. We needed a clean, welcoming hotel with breakfast included. This hit all the marks for a reasonable price. The hotel is remodeling / doing some construction, but we weren't inconvenienced by any of it.

Needs total renovation.
