The Maharaja's Lodge, Ranthambore

Very skeptical traveling (long distance) first time with our pet (its a golden retriever named "LEO"), we drove to the hotel from gurgaon. The fact that right from the gate keeper to the hotel manager - Tejas, kept checking about the pet made the entire family at ease. I cannot thank the staffs much for making us (incl LEO) & our stay so comfortable. We wish we could have sighted the Tiger but other than that, the quality of food, hospitality, etc everything was great! It s a hotel from the colonial times (I was told 1930s), with minimal layout changes, so has its own +ves and limits

We took the junior suite, which we thought could have been bigger, for a fairly pricy (25K+/night (just room)) tag. The layout of a very small sitting area adjoined by the bedroom was not too easy for the family + pet

good location in sawai modhophur. room was large and comfortable. food was good for a buffet. restaurant staff were really helpful and provided excellent service.

lots of minor refurbishment going on. not sure why this was not done before the season started. breakfast was very expensive for a buffet. also the alcoholic drinks are incredibly expensive. almost 1000/- for a large beer.
