The location was excellent

The toilet in the room was difficult to flush. Also I thought for the price it included at least continental breakfast

I loved the views from the front of the property. The swimming pool was lovely. The reception, bar and restaurant was decorated in a charming, traditional style and had great views. I found the staff very friendly. We enjoyed two fantastic evening meals - the venison starter was a highlight for me - exceptional presentation and truly delicious.

The property was showing signs of age and lack of maintenance - the paint on the inside of the windows in our room was flaking off and the frames were thick in dust and spiders webs. The exterior at the rear was badly in need of paint and cleaning. For me the “private” hot tub experience was not worth the extra money - there are two jacuzzis outside. One has a view of the lake, the other is in a small yard. The one with a view was closed for cleaning so we couldn’t sit in it. We used the one in the little yard but since there is also a third ( albeit not private’s) jacuzzi inside I didnt think it was worth the money. We eventually moved to lie on sunbeds beside the first jacuzzi with the lake view. This was also supposed to be a private area but several times guests wandered in from the direction of the front door / reception. In the end I felt we paid quite a lot to sit in a jacuzzi in a yard. Since when we were there, the whole spa/ pool area was very quiet , we could just as easily used the jacuzzi inside (by the swimming pool ) and enjoyed it for free and also with just two of us. For me it was not worth it - no view, and no privacy unless you sat in the yard…..

We booked this in the bar after stopping for a drink, the staff were brilliant and very welcoming. The room was large and cosy. The perfect way to celebrate our occasion!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, prachtige kamer, zeer verzorgde maaltijden (zowel ontbijt als restaurant), bijzonder hondvriendelijk. Onze viervoeter werd danig verwend.

Oplaadpalen werkten niet.

The staff were extremely friendly and chatty and very very dog friendly

This was such a restorative overnight trip. Food was excellent, spa was relaxing and location was beautiful.

Amazing views of Loch Inveraray from the lounge, easy walk to Inveraray.
