Comfortable and clean Good Mexican restaurant next door and other good restaurants a short walk away Located at the junction of several highways, so it made accessing the Badlands and Mount Rushmore very easy.

Breakfast was stock standard.

The air conditioner in the room was on when we arrived, and it was nice and cool in our room.

The first night we stayed there were no sheets, blankets or pillows on the pull-out sofa bed. We called to the front desk and the man that was answered was kind of rude. He said he didn't have any blankets or pillows left, just sheets. So, my son and I walked to the front desk, and he gave us a thin blanket and one sheet. The staff knew we were checking into this type of room; they could have told us that we needed to get the bedding from the front desk and as early as we could due to a limited amount. I wasn't happy about this, and it was disappointing. My son had to sleep on one sheet on the mattress. The next day, I called down to the front desk around 7pm, I was told the same thing by the same man that worked the night before. There were no blankets or pillows. Not sure if we were treated this way because we are Native American? We know there are a lot of racist people in Rapid City, and we are paying customers just like everyone else and should all be treated the same. This has been our favorite hotel to stay at and now I'm not so sure if we will return.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Located just off the Interstate which was perfect for our needs. Reception staff were helpful and polite. Good value for money.

Breakfast was very disappointing. No orange juice, no hot water to make tea, only cereals were very sugary kids types, no bacon or sausage, no staff seen to replenish anything. Really really poor. A $50 security fee was taken from my card in addition to the nights fee. I understand the need to have valid card details as security but to actually take the money from the account is unwarranted. I am sure it will be returned in due course but I dislike this policy and the majority of hotel chains don’t do this.
