Standalone bathtub in the room

Room was uncomfortably hot. AirCon was ineffective and windows were sealed shut. Breakfast was poor value for money - if you want a second cup of coffee they want £4.95 for it!

The bedroom was really nice and bed

No hot water for the shower no cold water on the bath tap lots of damage to the bathroom and the air con unit was spitting out black lumps all over the dressing table

Spotless room, HUGE bed, and everything we needed (iron, robes, slippers, tea coffee biscuits water etc) We took the continental breakfast which was fine for us but I could see other people were paying for the cooked option and it all looked very nice. We were going to a show at the Marlowe so we booked the overnight stay and we will be doing it again.

Just leaving from a second visit. Hotel offers good value from a central location with friendly and helpful staff. Big shout out to Lucy who makes the breakfast experience very enjoyable with lots of advice on how to make the most of your stay.
