M Star Columbus North

I accidentally choose this hotel which has a similar name to the one I meant to. Def not worth the money. Dirty, run down, they don't vacuum and so the floor will make the bottom of your shoes look worse, I had to leave the door open because it smelled so bad. I could go on but I won't, next time I'll slow down and pay attention.

I came alone and I had a car coming later with two people. I went to dinner and my friends merely told them they were staying in my (name)'s room. No security, no nothing, my friends were in my room when I got back. Not that I minded them there, but what's to stop someone from saying I need a key to room 101? my friend's in there. Could cause a lot of problems. Room was serviceable.

For the price I paid, it was a pretty dang good stay. The customer service was great! I originally could only book a smoking room with two beds, but when I checked in and told one of the employees that I don't smoke and would like and non-smoking 1 bed... They changed my room at no extra fee! I was really happy with my stay here.

I have never been more disrespected racially by someone than the owner's(Vishnu) wife, I don't know her name. We have been staying at m star, of and on between homes and Vishnu has been a nice person all around even when I help him fix a problem on his truck when it was Knights inn. His wife let's white people tell her they're checking out and hands them they're deposit. Or when a white person or elderly black person goes to get coffee by the office she just says hello. So I told my wife that I was going to audio tape my encounter with her while i got coffee and She asked me if I had a room there. Another racial act was when I told her I was checking out she asked me am I "COMPLETELY" Checking out and made me wait while she used her two-way to have a worker to go check to see if my things were out the room or if I had trashed the room. I nicely explained to her how rude it is to disrespect racially and all she said was ok and smiled, like as if she was saying yes whatever I already received payment just leave. Friendly warning to any ethnic race be Leary of the WIFE OF THE COLUMBUS M STAR MOTEL. She is not trying to understand anything you are saying and really doesn't care.

The people working the counter were extremely rude to my friend and I. Didn't seem like they knew what they were doing when I checked out too.

The m star is a dump.

My stay was real nice and ver clean

it was just so old fashioned and I found it very hard to get comfortable.

Dirty, bugs, broken heater, broken beds, bullet holes in mirror, smelly, lack of care to fix issues by staff.

Bought two nights and there is no couch, person working the front desk is very rude. Room doesn't really have anything so I was expecting more than what I asked I guess. And says free breakfast... yeah right.
